Currently I’m producing a television show with my partner Arthur Hancock called “A Question of Meaning” on the local cable access station in Asheville NC. Visit the website to watch clips from the shows; we discuss different topics, from questions of love and identity to politics and religion.

I’m also writing a book entitled “We Are ALL Innocent by Reason of Insanity: The Mechanics of Compassion.” I’ve got a manuscript completed and am currently in the process of querying agents.

I am a lay philosopher and a political radical. Visit my blog for my observations on our culture and our times.

I wrote a weekly column, “Reflections on Turtle Pond,” for my local newspaper, The Highlands’ Newspaper, from January of 2007 through the end of 2009. Before that time I wrote book reviews on a monthly basis for three years.

My husband Arthur Hancock and I co-wrote a book entitled The Game of God: Recovering Your True Identity, which is available at Amazon.com.

Arthur and I also produce videos. Our production company is called Time Capsule Video. In 2009 we released “The Spirit of Asheville.” In 2010 we have released videos about the St. Augustine Alligator Farm and the Lightner Museum, also in St. Augustine Florida. You can see excerpts from all of these DVDs on our Time Capsule Video website.

While in Highlands we produced a weekly television show called “Heart of the High Country” from June of 2004 until December 2009--200 shows in all. View the index of all six seasons here. You can also see a few examples from the show here.

For fun I weave; check out my weaving blog.

I love taking pictures in the mountains of western North Carolina, where I live.
